Develop, implement, and review care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans. Build effective relationships with social workers, education teams, therapists, families, and other professionals. Complete high-quality documentation, reports, and records in line with regulatory requirements. Supervise, mentor, and support the development of junior team members. Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing home environment. Support the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager as required, including covering management duties in their absence. What We're Looking For Essential ✅ NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce, Residential Childcare, or equivalent. ✅ Experience working with children and young people who display challenging behaviours. ✅ Previous experience leading shifts within a residential childcare setting. ✅ Experience supervising and supporting care staff. ✅ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. ✅ Ability to remain calm, resilient, and professional in challenging situations. Desirable ⭐ Level 4 or Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care. ⭐ Experience supporting children with Autism, mental health needs, or emotional and behavioural difficulties. ⭐ Knowledge of childcare legislation and children's home regulations. ⭐ Full UK Driving Licence.
