Role Overview

Sous Chef Campanelle Campanelle Restaurant is looking for a talented and driven Sous Chef to join our passionate kitchen team in the heart of the city This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef looking to take the next step in their career within a respected Italian restaurant group known for quality, consistency, and creativity. About the Role This is a Monday to Friday role As Sous Chef

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of fresh ingredients according to specifications
  • Operating commercial kitchen appliances, fryers, ovens, and dishwashers safely and efficiently
  • Washing pots, pans, utensils, and sanitizing kitchen prep stations throughout service
  • Monitoring food storage temperatures and completing food safety checklists (HACCP)
  • Unloading catering deliveries, rotating stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles
  • Maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene, waste management, and environmental health compliance

Candidate Requirements

  • Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for food and working in high-tempo culinary environments
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 certification is an advantage, or willingness to complete during training
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods and stay calm during busy lunch and dinner rushes
  • Punctual, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety
  • Valid right to work in the United Kingdom

What Is Offered

  • Compensation: £45,000 / yr
  • Contract Type: FULL TIME
  • Location: Fenchurch St, Central London
