Role Overview

We are looking for experienced South Indian Chefs to join an exciting new Indian restaurant opening in Central London. We are particularly interested in chefs with experience in Hyderabadi and Andhra cuisine , especially those with strong skills in: Curry Chefs – specialising in authentic South Indian curries and gravies. Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of fresh ingredients according to specifications
• Operating commercial kitchen appliances, fryers, ovens, and dishwashers safely and efficiently
• Washing pots, pans, utensils, and sanitizing kitchen prep stations throughout service
• Monitoring food storage temperatures and completing food safety checklists (HACCP)
• Unloading catering deliveries, rotating stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles
• Maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene, waste management, and environmental health compliance

Candidate Requirements

• Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for food and working in high-tempo culinary environments
• Food Hygiene Level 2 certification is an advantage, or willingness to complete during training
• Ability to work standing for extended periods and stay calm during busy lunch and dinner rushes
• Punctual, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety
• Valid right to work in the United Kingdom

What Is Offered

• Compensation: £45,000 / yr
