Role Overview
The Grand Hotel Leicester by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a confident Housekeeping Supervisor with a passion for service excellence . You will report to the Housekeeping Manager/Head Housekeeper , working towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the restaurant . The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for: Supporting the Housekeeper on leading the Housekeeping Team, ensuring
Key Responsibilities
- Performing thorough cleaning of assigned areas including offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal spaces
- Dusting, wiping surfaces, sanitizing high-touch points, vacuuming carpets, and mopping hard floors
- Emptying waste and recycling bins and ensuring proper disposal following site guidelines
- Restocking sanitary consumables such as hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Safe handling, dilution, and storage of commercial cleaning chemicals in line with COSHH regulations
- Reporting maintenance faults, damage, or low supplies to the facilities supervisor promptly
Candidate Requirements
- Hardworking, dependable, and capable of working to high standards of cleanliness
- Previous commercial, domestic, or industrial cleaning experience is beneficial but training is provided
- Basic understanding of workplace health & safety or willingness to complete mandatory induction
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and pride in maintaining hygienic environments
- Valid right to work in the United Kingdom
What Is Offered
- Compensation: £28,661.24 / yr
- Contract Type: FULL TIME
- Location: Leicester, Leicestershire
