Role Overview

The Grand Hotel Leicester by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Housekeeping Attendant with a passion for service excellence. You will report to the Housekeeping Manager, working towards serving our customer's and providing a memorable experience for our guests during their stay with us. A Housekeeping Attendant will be responsible for: Ensuring all control measures set by

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing thorough cleaning of assigned areas including offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal spaces
  • Dusting, wiping surfaces, sanitizing high-touch points, vacuuming carpets, and mopping hard floors
  • Emptying waste and recycling bins and ensuring proper disposal following site guidelines
  • Restocking sanitary consumables such as hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
  • Safe handling, dilution, and storage of commercial cleaning chemicals in line with COSHH regulations
  • Reporting maintenance faults, damage, or low supplies to the facilities supervisor promptly

Candidate Requirements

  • Hardworking, dependable, and capable of working to high standards of cleanliness
  • Previous commercial, domestic, or industrial cleaning experience is beneficial but training is provided
  • Basic understanding of workplace health & safety or willingness to complete mandatory induction
  • Reliable attendance, punctuality, and pride in maintaining hygienic environments
  • Valid right to work in the United Kingdom
