Role Overview

The Employer is actively seeking a reliable and motivated Catering Assistant Job in Bristol to join their team in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity offering £13.45 per hour on a part time basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the preparation, seasoning, and cooking of fresh ingredients according to specifications
  • Operating commercial kitchen appliances, fryers, ovens, and dishwashers safely and efficiently
  • Washing pots, pans, utensils, and sanitizing kitchen prep stations throughout service
  • Monitoring food storage temperatures and completing food safety checklists (HACCP)
  • Unloading catering deliveries, rotating stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles
  • Maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene, waste management, and environmental health compliance

Candidate Requirements

  • Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for food and working in high-tempo culinary environments
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 certification is an advantage, or willingness to complete during training
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods and stay calm during busy lunch and dinner rushes
  • Punctual, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety
  • Valid right to work in the United Kingdom
